PC RPG with Arduino NPCs.

I'm giving this a thought. It's not so hard to write a maze game with real elementary see-chase-attack-die monsters but good interaction is art. So I want the PC to run the game world while the player and Arduinos move their pieces independent of each other. Arduinos could be anything, NPCs, even new traps. The game board code can be long done and still the game grow through addons. How about an Arduino DM?
