PCB and Parts from http://www.satistronics.com/

Hi

Just wondering if anyone has used these guys before:

I just got a number of parts from them, which arrived yesterday - very quick delivery from China to NZ and the parts are great. They sell stuff which costs much more at other electronics stores, but only have a limited range at the moment.
Like:
MAX232CPE chip for $0.49US
Mini 5v coil relay (switches up to 250VAC 10A) for $0.29US each
1000x 1/4W metal film 1% resistors for $2.94US

Stuff like that.

I got a bunch of stuff to stock up my electronics box. Some stuff has a minimum order quantity, or comes in a tube of 50 or a small tray, but the prices are great from what I can tell.

They also offer PCB Design and PCB Manufacture. I have just designed 4 boards and I am just waiting for a quote to come back to get 1 of each board (80mm x 100mm) manufactured. Ill post back with the quote.

Just thought I would share my finding.

Cheers
James

I haven't used them yet, but if I run out of female sil headers (the ones you can make IC sockets with) I will order a bag from them.

Price is tempting for character LCDs. I just soldered my only good 16*2 display on a prototype and need more. WanaGo, did you buy any of their LCDs?

Did anyone from US purchase from them? I wonder if any import taxes are levyed on those items?

For 16x2s just go on ebay, never had any issues and you can buy one with postage for about $5-6

No I didnt buy any LCD's.

I just brought Resistors, terminals, dip switches, relays, headers, IC sockets, Capacitors, DB9 headers, some MAX chips and a few other bits and bobs.

It was 3 days shipping from placing the order to receiving them in NZ, I was well impressed. No duty for me on these, but doesnt mean there wont be for you.

Thank you for suggesting eBay. I never thought to look for something like a LCD there. I found a yellow one on-sale for $4.

Yeah I got my last one for £4 including shipping from China (or somewhere like that :P)
No problems with it.

Under bar sport there is a post "ebay great deal", which has a few ebay seller names that you can trust.
