PCB design software

I've tried 5 or 6 of them without luck, their libraries lacked the components I want to use.
I just need 2 of them:

  • 7 segments displays (C-391H)
  • A shift register (74HC595)

...well, and some resistors.

Can you guys please suggest me something that fit my needs?

Thanks in advance.

Why don't you download the datasheet for your 7-segment display and your 74hcxxx chip and make your own part/library.
Not every component you will pick will be present in any CAD program you use.

Well, I don't have idea how to do that.
I was expecting to find a software with those components as they are pretty common.

The 74HC595 exists in Eagle.

  • 7 segments displays (C-391H)

Eagle has plenty of 7-seg displays in it's library. But it may not be the perfect match for your specific part on hand (dimension, pin layout, pin assignments)

C-391H??? Is that the actual part#? I can't find that part at Mouser.com or Digikey.
For "special" parts like this, the best thing to do is create your own library part.
There are lots of tutorials. It's very easy.

Yes, this is the datasheet

Thank you, I will take a look there.

Try Newark.com, they have eagle symbols for lots of parts.

Thank you Mr Crossroads.
