PCB MASK: Dye-sublimation thermal transfer

Has anyone tried, read about or know anything of Dye-sublimation thermal transfer printers? There is a used one for lunch money near me. I was going to buy to test insert a blank copper PCB and see if I can get a print off that.

I was hoping someone here had experience, tell me "no that does not work" who has tried it. If this printer does not work, it is still useful for many other things while I put it back up for sale for more or the same than I bought it for, if of course it does not BREAK when I try to use the copper on it.
