You have a not-an-Arduino, that you did not post a link to, that apparently has non-standard capabilities that you need help using. Can you see why we can't help you?

The Tutorial link on the sparkfun page has a lot of resources. On of them shows how to test the onboard IR receiver. That process looks NOTHING like an Arduino sketch.
Thanks. Yes, that so called tutorial talks about drivers, which are not discussed elsewhere that I can find. All I'm trying to find is the PIN value.. I'm sure I should be able to do a digitalread of a pin, just like I can for an externally wired IR receiver - which currently is working great. I just want to get the onboard sensor.
So thanks Paul, I'm not asking anyone to go do the research for me, I've already done a whole lot and reached a dead end. I assume that the person who holds the answer will know exactly what i'm talking about, it's a unique question.
I may have to approach the designers, but I'm not sure who that specifically is. I'm also very surprised that the detail has not been provided in documentation.
