Pearson Education publishing would like to apply for permission from Arduino to use screenshots from your software products in one of our forthcoming publications
Who is the best person to contact in Arduino to discuss this?
Regards

A similar question did come up a while ago. It was actually regarding using the button images but when asked about that one of the Arduino developers did mention the topic of screenshots:
So unfortunately that's still not an answer to your question but I thought I'd mention it since it was related.
I don't know how copyrights apply to screenshots and cmaglie didn't either (his specialty is programming so I wouldn't expect him to). I expect you are probably already knowledgeable on this topic being in the business you are but if not it would definitely be worth doing some research to see if you even need to obtain permission. Obviously it's very important to respect copyrights, especially with open source where so much is already being freely given.
I hope you will take the time to update this post if you do find an answer to your question as that information might be useful to others.
Hi,
Does anyone have a phone number or contact detail for the Arduino comapny? I'm still trying to get clearance for these screen shots?
Any help gratefully received.
With thanks
Stephen
