I see that the listing says the plotter comes with a CD that contains software. Do you have the CD?
The article also provides a link to download the software the reviewer received. Since it is 383 MB, I don't feel like downloading it to see what is in it, but maybe it will be useful to you (obviously always be careful when downloading files from random sites on the Internet).
The article says that the "Universal Gcode Sender" application is used on the PC to control the plotter. The homepage for that application mentions the free open source Grbl CNC firmware. It is possible that is the firmware that was on your plotter (or, even if not, that Grbl will work on it). If you want to give it a try, you can follow the instructions here to upload the Grbl firmware to the plotter:
