Hi everybody,
I am running a digital signage project addressed to retail shops. We create and manage digital content to big screens located in shop windows or in-store with Internet connected players and a cloud-based content management system.
We are closing a pilot with a high street retail store in the UK (not far from London) and we want to prove that our solution improves footfall (people entering a shop) and generates more sales enquiries.
We would like to use a simple and affordable solution to count people. Searching the Internet, I have identified some solutions using rasperry pi or arduino, a webcam and some libraries (Motion and opencv).
I am not techie so I would like to find somebody within the UK who can help me.
The solution needs to count people entering and leaving the store and send the data to a server and produce a simple dashboard to visualize basic data.
Our intention is to test it during the pilot and if it works correctly, we can offer it as an additional service with a monthly subscription fee.
Thanks!
Javier
