Off topic but is there any commentary on the Freescale K29D50M ARM board? 50 MHz 128K flash 16 K sram and 32K FlexMem??? AND it will use selected Arduino Shields... All for $17.++, Less than $18.00 with a mems accelerometer, a (Gee) 3 color LED and a capacitive slider (never had my capacitive slid before...)
Kidding aside, A lot of resources and particularly for the money. I got one in the mail yesterday, And I'm impressesed. It's a pretty red board with the Freescale logo gold pated as are all the unsoldered jumper pin holes.
If nothing else it's worth framing.
It must have been my day for nuts because I bought an "Leonardo' like board... No identifying marks whatsoever except the legends on the LCD's ON, L, Tx and RX from DC connector to odd USB connector.
Probably not the best choice but until I get an "Arduino" environment for the board "Energia?", Code warrior is free for the full capacity of the K20, using I think Eclipse Indigo and unlike my experiences with full featured compilers that last a week (ST, I thing with CCS?) although I don't know for sure yet, I just got it today and I've been under the weather all day... I was impressed with the MSP430 and this is a great deal more for a little more money.
