I am trying upgrade from a mega 2560 board to the X8. I was reading the tutorial "Data Exchange Between Python on Linux and an Arduino sketch" and I am confused about how the author knew the I2C available to the m4 core was connected to "PWM6 and SDA to PWM8 on the Portenta breakout". Is this in the ABX00049-full-pinout and I just missed it? I have been trying to find any hints in the datasheets/documentation, but I haven't been able to find it. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.
I found the alternate function table in the datasheet for the STM32H747XI that is linked on the Portenta X8 page. I started at section 5 Pin descriptions. I am still trying to get the information I'm looking for by cross-referencing the schematic for the X8 with the STM32H747XI datasheet. I am referencing the information for the WLCSP156 ballout in all the tables.
Hi Chris,
Could you provide a link to where you found this information?
Thanks
