Peristaltic pump _ using accelStepper not working at desired speed

Hi There,
I am trying to use a Nema23 to actuate a peristaltic pump. The program should be triggered by an external I/O signal coming from pin2.
The routine should :

  • start by default at slow speed
  • when pin is HIGH then reach a desired max speed with a ramp
  • when pin 2 is LOW go back to initial speed

Somehow the scale of values i am using doesn’t produce any change in speed, and when the pin 2 goes back to LOW is is ignoring the command.

What makes you think this is a bootloader issue?
