Perpetual Pendulum

An update...

Back in May 08, I published details of an Arduino powered pendulum. A magnet on the end of the pendulum activates a reed switch when the pendulum is in a particular position. At the right moment, a fixed electromagnet "tugs" on the same magnet, keeping the pendulum swinging. Useful? not. Art! (?)

It generally "just works". For instance, a 12 foot long installation has been "tick-tocking" aesthetically in a stairwell without without any attention for the past month.

This is how the waving cats work. They have a single AA but its enough to have them waving for a year or so.

You should look at the Bedini Motor. It claims free energy, but is an extremely efficient pulsed DC motor.

Benini motors along with Brown's gas (and many other 'odd' technologies) are the victims of a lot of pseudo science, weird belief systems, scams and general mumbo jumbo. Quite interesting otherwise.

One of my friends has successfully implemented Bedini with arduino http://www.wilhoit-az.com/mark/free_energy/MAllen7424.php

I myself also use arduino for similar projects except with plasma aetheric reactors instead of a ferro-resonant aethric reactor http://www.arduino.cc/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1256402716
