Persistent Nano Uploading error. Assistance?

Hi Newbie here, …

Can anyone point to a solution to the following Error msg? I am at my wits end here. I just have not been able to solve this.

Have you tried the other options under tools → processorin the IDE? If your Nano is a clone or older original, that is the most common solution. There is a slight chance that you have to use the 168 option.

Well, I did get farther but, now I get “not enough memory” error

I just can’t seem to win

Did ‘old bootloader’ not work?

The 168 is a smaller version of the 328(P); 50% of the RAM, 50% of the flash and 50% of the EEPROM.

What NANO do you have? As there are a few boards with the name NANO, also is this a clone or original board?

Not sure what version it is. But it is a nano with the MEGA328P chip. I was able to upload using the old boot loader. will have to test to see if it functions as designed.
