hi

i'm planning to built a automatic cat feeder using microcontroller.Firstly i would like to note that i'm still beginner in micocontroller ....my question is how set the timer so that the servo is activated 3-4 times per day..(normally i found that the timer is only in miliseconds.)

8-) any help and suggestion is truly appreciated by me and my cats.thanks

Would it help if I pointed out that there are 60 000 milliseconds in a minute and 3 600 000 milliseconds in an hour?

You should consider using the DateTime library.

ic…the problem with DateTimeLibrary is reset whenever the arduino is reset…
p/s:just found that i can really overcome my problem using PICAXE and clock module
