Pet Immune Sensor

Hi,
I am looking for some guidance.
I would like to create a Motion Sensing Arduino that will be able to distinguish between a Human body and an Animal (small animal < 40Kgs)
I have my project running excellently with a PIR, but would now like to introduce the "pet immune" functionality.
I know of "pet immune" sensors, but I require a module that I can build into my PCB design.
Can anyone point be in the right direction?

Pet immune motion detectors just work by ignoring the area beneath 1m, its nothing more technical than that, so if you crawl, it won't go off!

All humans are animals, many humans are < 40kg, so any simplistic approach is flawed.

A camera and suitable computer vision software (AI) is a possible approach, especially using
a heat camera, as heat distribution from a clothed human is very different from an animal.

Which are more problematic for you, false positives or false negatives?

"Pets" covers a multitude of sins.

Some people like free-roaming reptiles from snakes to lizards and tortoises, others like furry creatures like rabbits and cats or dogs.

A small child might be indistinguishable from a puppy.

As the others had said, a pet-friendly PIR has a zone at low level to ignore crawling things.

A universal animal sensor might be difficult and it might be easier to focus on specific animals and determine which properties distinguish them, like shape, temperature, furry face etc.

If you can grab the animal, fit it with a reflector or something
