pH sensor RC-A-41520 offset setting issue with ESP32

I am using pH sensor RC-A-41520 by Robocraze with ESP32 to monitor the pH of solutions.
It is required to tune the adjustment screw such that it gives output 2.5V when the terminals of BNC connector are shorted (Input Voltage:5 V). I have tried the same but upon screw adjustment, I am not able to bring down voltage below 3.7 V.
Therefore, I am not able to make use of full range of this sensor. I am getting high variation in readings.
I have calibrated the sensor with ph 4 and ph 7 solution and getting output pH after linear interpolation. Is there any better way to do it?

That is a bog common pH sensor board that is being rebranded time and again, quite interesting to see this happening. The back is probably marked "Logo pH Sensor"...

There are two trim pots, one of them should be able to set the offset somewhat, but 3.7V should not be possible to begin with, as it is out of the normal range to begin with. It is also interesting that you have no problem measuring this voltage with a 3.3V board.
