Hi community, Im a new user, Im trying to connect the shield ethernet extension module for an arduino mega, however, as you could see on the attachment, there is a connection that came with the board that really worries me.
I would really appreciate any suggestion, as im a new user, I am ahead to go to the store where I bought it, but any help will be grateful.
Greetings,

If it's problematic to return the shield you can fix that solder bridge fairly easily with a soldering iron.
It is possible to use the shield as-is, but you will not be able to use pins A0 and A1. Other than that the bridge will not cause any problems. The biggest thing you need to watch out for is if you set A0 to output, HIGH, and A1 to output, LOW (or vice versa) that will exceed the current rating of the pins (because it's a short) and could damage the microcontroller on your Arduino board.
