I think the Arduino core must use one itself, can't remember where it is located though...
I guess besides to my camera tester project i wanted to keep that topic more about a sensitiv precise circuit for photodiodes as this would be interesting for anyone who is working on any kind of photoelectric barrier working with a digital signal
