Hey,
Just wondering if I could get some help picking the right thickness for my traces for a PCB design in Eagle.
Designing a small controller board running 24v Power into 2 Stepper driver to control 2 1.68A Stepper motors.

You mean perhaps trace width? Thickness will be 35µm or 70µm depending on whether a 1oz or 2oz board, and
2 oz might be worth considering if the rest of the board allows it (minimum spacings and widths may depend on copper thickness - the pcb fab house may be info on this).
1.7A isn't too demanding, remember that heating goes up as the square of current, so 1.7A is way less of an issue than 5A for instance.
For heat dissipation of the driver chip 2oz is also advantageous though, the thermal conductivity is also worth
considering.
