pid controller with 3 diffrent loops

iam new to Arduino.

i would like to build an arduino with 3 different pid loops. its for my plastic extruder.

can one arduino uno control 3 different loops

i was thinking of using the i2c bus between the different components.

i need one display where i can see the 3 different setpoints and the actual temperature. witch display can do so ? or is it easier with 3 displays.

i would like to use type k thermocouples.

where do i start. i am new to arduino and have now bought my first yet :)

Some more detail would be helpful; for example, what do you mean by this:

Do you have three extruders to run? Need to extrude three different materials? What are the components that you intend to connect via I2C?. More detail the better.

Yes an Arduino can run three independant PID control algorithms concurrently, if you design it correctly. The PID library comes with examples showing how to use it, and there are endless tutorials on the internet explaining how to use PID controls.
