I'm looking to create a circuit where the volume of the piezo speaker is controlled by the proximity sensor (the speaker buzzes louder as you get closer)
I've been looking around but I haven't found many leads on this - so any help would be greatly appreciated.
louder i cant help you with.
however i can point you toward something that could give you a higher pitch as you get closer and closer lower further away it may serve tha same purpose?
search for a program called melody it plays twinkle twinkle on a pezio mod the pitch frequencys to cange depending on the distance read from your sensor and ur done.
im new so i cant give many detaild answers but hope it helps!
Hey tbaum, did you ever get the variable volume working?
I scavenged a liquid flowmeter out of a coffee maker, and found by blowing in it I could read the speed. Thought I'd make some sort of digital wind instrument, but can't figure out how to change the volume of my piezo without it sounding weird. Right now it's changing pitch based on the speed which is fun, but not quite what I was hoping.
