Pin 6 to GND is a short circuit; Arduino Due

Hello there,

I've had my Arduino Due V3 for a while now, and it's been great. However, every battery I plug into it now shorts...

I noticed a few weeks ago that pin 6 wasn't providing an output greater than 0.04V, but everything else worked fine. But today I found that not only do my batteries short, but 9V DC in via barrel jack won't work at all, and USB works for about 10 seconds and then the Arduino slowly fades off.

After some troubleshooting with a multimeter, I found that pin 6 to ground was a short circuit, and I'm pretty sure that was the only anomaly.

Does anyone know what could've happened, or more important, how I can work around it? My machine is useless right now, so any help is appreciated, as Googling didn't seem to help.

Thanks,
