Well, if there's a problem then it's probably either a hardware or software problem.
Hope this helps.
In the past, when my Ping wasn't reading, it was an issue of voltage.
The ping doesn't function correctly at 3.3v. It wants a full 5v to work.
This is a guess. Most people generally provide better responses to better, more complete, and more researched questions that post schematics and code.
