Any thoughts on how I can measure the shadow time (none seen laser period of the stepper travel)? Any suggestions on the arduino code for the KY-008 650nm Laser & Reciver module? GFS makes one good point is the LDR's response time. I agree a phototransistor will detects light near-instantly compared to LDR.
