Pipe Tube blockage checking

Hlo Everyone,
I am working on a project for checking blockage in a pipe tube whose diameter is around 25–30 mm. In pipe, single-grain material is flowing.
If anyone have any other technics for detecting blockage in pipe-tube then please suggest me.
Thank You

Why did you post the topic there ?

Use a light barrier at the output of the pipe.

Not exactly sure of what you are asking, a 25 mm pipe will plug very easily with about any grain. How are you getting the grain to flow, are you using vacuum or pressure. What is the flow rate. What is the pressure delta between input and output? Is this a commercial unit? Can you show pictures of what you are trying to do? What type of grain is it and has it been processed?

Hello raushan_1995

Install a microphone and hear what happens in the tupe.

Hi,
What type of solid material passes through the tube?
Is it metallic?
Is the grain magnetic?

Optical (diffusion/blockage) @exit or capacitive plates @exit come to mind.

Larger scale implementation:

Blockage means in and out not equal....check both.

Thank you for your reply,
This Pipe is used for seed sowing purpose and single seed is passing through the pipe but sometimes blockages will occur.

Thank you for your reply
its seed grain like wheat and maize and used for sowing purposes.

Thank you sir, it is very useful for my work.

You could count the seeds. If the count stops, the pipe is blocked.

Ideas in this link. The concepts work for even very small seeds, smaller than the 7mm noted.

Think about how you detect a blockage now , is there a pump that changes sound as it’s load changes , hopper over flowing, noise change . They might give you a clue as to what to detect .
