PIR HC SR501 sensitivity

to increase sensitivity in hc sr501,
which direction of 1Mohm trimpot must turn?
toward minimum i.e = O ohm or
toward maximum i.e = 1M ohm?
tq

You can't AFAIK increase sensitivity of an HC-SR501.
Range and view angle are set by the type of Fresnel lens.

One of the pots is the time it stays 'on' after triggering, which is a few seconds to 7 minutes.

The other pot is to delay triggering, to reduce false triggers.
From memory, anti-clockwise is a shorter response time, which might seem like a higher sensitivity.

tq for the answer,
"From memory, anti-clockwise is a shorter response time, which might seem like a higher sensitivity."
if you search about this, the answer is contradictive, some said ACW the other said CW, very confusing,
thats why I asking more detail for the trimpot... to increase sensitivity, turn trimpot toward 0 ohm or 1 Mohm...

The datasheet of the BISS0001 chip has the trigger inhibit control formula.
