having pir sensor problems. the sensor is basically working ok - i connected it up without an arduino - just to a battery, resistor and led, just to test it, and then i connected it to an arduino with some basic code and it works fine - except for one thing - after the output drops back to low, when the motion has ended, there is a noticeable delay, around 5 seconds, before it will retrigger again, even though the output has already dropped back to low.If i am right, the delay adjustment is for adjusting the time the output stays high after it has been triggered, but in addition to that there is a noticeable and consistant delay after the output has dropped back low before it will retrigger. is this normal?
does anyone know what might be causing this and how it can be solved?
