Hello gcjr alto777 and the Arduino forum,
Shout out to gcjr. Made change suggested in post #22
and the strip now operates as intended.
That is, the strip
begins blue, transitions to red, and then transitions (without
interruption) from red to blue. The strip cycles
blue/red/blue in six seconds four times.
The strip then stops at blue and waits
to be retriggered.
