Pitch and amplitude tracker for double bass

It's as close to done as I can get it for now so check it out if you're interested, will post video of me playing my 303 with my bass later tommz. If anyone has any ideas for further development especially regarding adaptive filtering I welcome their input.

Controlling the x0x with a homemade pitch to voltage box and the x0xm0d using a double bass

Same again but singing very badly to it :-X

hey.

Nice.
I'd love to hear the double bass mixed with the 303, can kind of hear it in the video.

Yeah one of the things I keep meaning to do is feed the double bass signal straight into the filter section and cut out the vco, that way the troublesome pitch tracking wouldn't matter, I'd just be doing bonk detection to trigger the gate.

After reading the blog something you might try when you start work on it again.

Feed the input to a phase locked loop, and feed the output of the VCO into your detector circuit. In that way when you lock on to a note it won't jump an octave as the fundamental decays away making some of the harmonics bigger than the fundamental. The PLL will stay in lock as long as it has something to lock to.

Cheers Mike that sounds interesting. I'm determined to crack this one in the end so you're input is welcome
