greets,
I bought a PL2303 USB to TTL converter from this vendor:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/201077226690?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
received it today, inspected it and found that pins 25 and 26 are shorted. Not sure if it's a sloppy soldering job or if it was intended like that.
Pin 25 is Ground for PLL and 26 is PLL Test Mode (is an input pin).
datasheet: http://www.electronicaestudio.com/docs/PL2303.pdf
Now I'm not sure I should plug it in and use it or ask for a replacement.
what do you guys think?
thanks
