PL2303 with Arduino UNO

Hi, I am using the PL2303 serial communication device to try and upload my code in a stand alone Arduino. my connection is as follows:
5V---> 5V
GND---> GND
TX---> RX
RX---> TX
There is no DTR or RST pin
and i keep getting " an error occured while uploading the sketch" how can solve this problem?

When the IDE shows the sketch size, tap the RESET button on your stand alone.
