Just bought a new Uno Rev3 board with Long Pins because I thought it would be easier to plug the Uno into a breadboard but the ICSP header has been fitted to the bottom of the board preventing the Uno fitting on the breadboard properly. Is this right? any ideas.?
Does the ICSP have the double pins going both up and down so that shields like the Ethernet or USB can plug on top of the board and access those pins?
If they are proper going both top and bottom do you plan on using them for your bottom mounted shield?
If yes on both top and bottom for pins on the ICSP and no on the bottom, then you could clip the bottom off.
If they are bottom only then your going to either need to unsolder and place them up or run a cable if you use a top shield needing them.
The other option is extender male to female spacing pins.
Or cap them if they do not interfere with lower circuits.
pins only on the bottom, think ill extended them thanks spicetraders for your advice.

Any specific reason why you post this in the Arduino Due (sub)forum?
