Please help me!

Could someone help me figure out their values from left to right? I cant seem to figure it out.

Cannot make out the colours.

Black or brown on a light blue background is difficult.
These are coded as 5 band : 5-Band Resistor Color Code Calculator

Anyway, a multimeter which can also test ohms (resistance) ranges can be very cheap and useful for all sorts of electronics projects.

I couldn't find a 5-band chart that "allows" black on both ends... And if you can find one, I'm not sure if there's a way of knowing which end to start with...

Do you have a multimeter? That would get you in the ballpark and you should be able to figure-out the colors from there to find the "exact marked" value.

I would start to guess but you need to take them out into full daylight - but not direct sun - and re-take the picture.

I'm thinking it's not the fault of the OP (except for the useless subject line) -- it is a decent photo, after all, and, more to the point, resistor markings seem to have become truly awful. Is it just my aging eyes? I have units I cannot read reliably in any type of light at all ... though reading old 1/4w carbon units is still trivially easy.

A white or neutral (light gray) background should help - the blue (or any other color mess up the color balance)

That said there is a reason for my Fluke 87 (original from the late 80's when I had to wait in line for something like 2 months and cost a bunch) sitting by my work area and all the resistors are stored in bins or small bags that are marked - my eyes struggle now and was never good at color codes anyway

If you don't have a multi-meter - you will find them very useful for trouble shooting - they don't cost much now

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.

Have you got a DMM?

Since industry decided to use the blue body colour, reading some values has become more than just difficult.

Tom...
