PLEASE HELP -- Trying to get Logworks to read data from Uno.

Here is what i'm trying to do:

I am trying to hook sensors up to my uno board (like a map sensor for instance 0-5v)

What I need to do now is use the serial protocol to have it interface with logworks so I can view it in realtime datalogs.

Here is a link to logworks - http://innovatemotorsports.com/support/downloads/LogWorks3Setup.exe

Here is a link to the serial protocol to make it work I think - http://innovatemotorsports.com/support/downloads/Seriallog-2.pdf

If it works I think it should also interface with the LM-2 for logging as well.

basically I am reading the voltage value to analog A0, dividing 1023 by 5 to get a voltage value (float mapVoltage).

What I need is mapVoltage to show on logworks.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I also need to add in an analog accelerometer but I should be able to implement that once I can get it to communicate with logworks properly.

Basically you need to open the Arduino's COM port in Logworks and use whatever serial communication abilities are available in Logworks.

The concept is no different than if you use VB6, LabVIEW, C#, VB.NET, Python.

If you are not able to do the programming yourself, there is the Gigs and Collaboration forum to hire someone. http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?board=26.0

Thank you, however, I'm not looking to hire someone, I'm just looking for help as I would like to learn to do this myself. It may be above my head, it may not be, I am not sure.

Once you establish communication, you will need to create the message per the document.

Whether it is above your head or not is for you to determine.
