PLS HELP! (Arduino coding)

An easy debug is to save the value read from the stop switch and then Serial.println(that value). Then you can see for your self if there is a problem.

interesting, i did as you said and what i get is that the stop button did response as long as my finger dont leave the stopbutton and my red led did not light up too. is there any problem somewhere that i am unware of?

Please post a schematic so we can check there is no hardware fault.
