plugin problem

Hi - plugin installed and apparently working (showing green in the tray) but seemingly not detected by the Editor which is displaying the error "No Plugin Connection. Uploading is disabled until you reconnect."

My OS is Windows 10. I've tried re-installing the plugin, to no avail. Any ideas?

Did you say "YES" to the boxes that popped up during the install.
At least two and possibly a third.

  1. CERTIFICATE. Has to be accepted and is valid for only the default browser being used at the time so if you want CREATE to work with a different browser you also have to re-do the install using that browser and say yes again to whatever it offers up.

  2. DRIVERS. These will be offered on a per board basis when needed so if you are only using a UNO it will offer UNO drivers but if you later use a different board such as an MKR it will offer the drivers for that board.

  3. FIREWALL. This is not always offered depending on the type of OS install but again you should say YES if it does offer to make an entry to your firewall rules.

Another thing to watch out for is SECURITY such as antivirus etc as this has been seen to cause some minor issues and is usually easy to see if it is that by turning whatever you use OFF for a test run. If CREATE works at that point you need to add the process to the security's exclusions / white list.
