Plugin won't install MAC 10.7.5 Firefox 18.0.02

Installation fails with error: Problem running post-install step. Installation may not complete correctly
Error running security add-trusted-cert -d -r trustRoot -k

See attachment for rest.

I was signed in as an administrator though it didn't ask for password during install.

I could not find anything obvious re: firewall.

I've tried several times.

The certificate is vital to the install.

Firefox can be a little quirky about installing the cert but I am sure there was another post about that somewhere or maybe in the step through HERE

Thanks for your response.

I tried to install the plugin with Safari and the same error occurred. I did it more than once.

BTW at no time did I see any reference to certificates or permissions through the install process. Or in tutorials.

Regards

Then thats why it doesnt work.

I know it supports safari and they also say in that same link that it supports Chrome, FF, and Edge and I can confirm the latter 3.

And btw each browser requires its own certificate so installing on one browser and trying to use another doesn't usually work unless each had the install and cert.

I can use FF, Chrome and EDGE at the same time as I did the seperate installs.

Permissions / root have been mentioned in other posts for the MAC in particular.
If I had a mac I could probably be more help but I banned them in this house LOL.
Looks like you are back to reading the mac specific posts.

@enyab thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately your version of MacOS is a bit outdated and we are not supporting it for the online Editor. We suggest you use the Desktop IDE.

Sorry for the inconvenience!
