Plugin won't install (macOS 10.12.6, Chrome 64.0.3282.186 & Firefox 58.0.2)

Trying to install the plugin from either chrome or firefox, no joy either way. I download & run the installer, it always tells me "There has been an error. Error deleting service ArduinoCreateAgent." macOS 10.12.6, Chrome 64.0.3282.186 & Firefox 58.0.2.

Likewise: Plugin won't install. I'm using Macbook Pro, OS High Sierra 10.13.3 Therefore can't use Arduino Leonardo. Will return to assembly coding PIC processors until problem solved.
