hi.. I am 15 years old, and making aduino kit is our task for school. I live in Korea, and I'm not so good at English. So I may be writing a wrong sentences, but plz help me... I'm dying.
We want to make this aduino kit(삐삐(무선 통신기) [아두이노] - YouTube) but it's not working...
We have everything it says we need, and we pasted the code correctly, and connected the curcuits as same as possible. The LCD board was supposed to show 0, but it didn't show anything but only glowed. I don't know which of the code or circuits are wrong. If you are willing to help us, please email me to ds20070810@gmail.com or comment in this text. If you want to see the pictures of circuits, we can show you. Plz write in easy words.... As we said, WE ARE NOT GOOD AT ENGLISH!!!!
There are a couple of problems here. There is a minor mistake in the I²C "backpack" which makes it difficult to set the contrast on the LCD. If you disconnect the SCL and SDA lines to the "backpack" before switching it on, you can set the potentiometer (the blue block) on the backpack so that you see a set of "blocks" on the first line of the display.
Then reconnect SCL and SDA, turn the power on again and see if you get the "0" - or some text.
If you do not, reply again.
