Hello, can someone recommend a wall-mounted AC to DC power supply for Arduino Uno USB Microcontroller A000046? Specs say 7 to 12 V; not sure about amps and I don't want to burn it up. Thx.

Any supply rated at 8 to 12vDC and 500ma or more should work fine. The closer to 8vdc you can get the cooler the on-board +5vdc regulator will run.

Btw, the amperage is not an issue, more is not a problem, if it can deliver the current you need, you're good to go.

Your question is a very common question, on this forum and many others dealing with electronics. You could easily do a google search to find your answer; instead, your answer is merely added to a pile of similar answers which other people like yourself won't bother to look up via google tommorow, when this question inevitably occurs to them. Heck, I think I have some old Popular Electronics issues (or Radio-Electronics, or Nuts and Volts, etc) where this question has been asked and answered to death.
Heck - it's probably been asked and answered (both correctly and incorrectly, likely) more than once on Yahoo! Answers (if you care to wade through that morass of inanity)...
Back when I was a kid, when I asked a question of my parents - sometimes they'd give it to me. More often than not, they'd point to the bookshelf, on which sat a complete collection of Encyclopedia Brittanica. Eventually, it got to the point where they bought me an older set for my own room, I needed them so much; between them, my other encyclopedias, and the library - I found that rather than asking my parents for the answer, I could find the answers I needed with only a bit of research (and a strange part of me misses card catalogs and microfiche readers).
Unfortunately, this seems to be a lost art among many; more so with the younger generation, but even my peers tend to be this way as well (most of them didn't pay any attention during the few lessons we had in school on how to use card catalogs and such to find answers to questions). Strangely, though - they too can't seem to be able to use the search system at a library, or how to search properly on google.

The web makes it very easy for one to do their own research. It also makes it very easy do just ask questions and hope to get a straight answer. Room for both, however I do shy away from doing homework for posters.
Lawn what lawn? I don't got to show you no stinkin lawn. It ripped mine out 10 years ago and replaced it with 1 1/2 - 2" salt and pepper rocks. Lawn grass is not a natural plant life in California ( or Az.) and is just a waste of precious water resources out here in the west. So yeah, get off my rocks.
