I just purchased a Serial Servo Controller that controls up to 8 servos using a single wire for serial commands. With the servo controller sharing the TX on the Arduino, I've read that the Arduino download process can mess up the Servo Controller.
To counter this, I'd like to reset the servo controller using a output pin on the Arduino (since I have a few to spare). Does the servo reset pin go low to reset? It doesn't say in the manual: http://www.pololu.com/catalog/product/207
If so, should I connect the Arduino output pin to the reset on the Servo Controller, with a 4.7k pull-up resistor between the pin and 5V?
