Hi,
I am have an Arduino Mega Board(Not genuine :grin:) and Pololu QTR- 8A sensor array.

  1. Can I use the 5V supply of the arduino mega?

  2. Or should I use the seperate power supply? I could not also find the maximum supplying current of arduino +5V supply. In the pololu's web site it is indicated that the sensor array has maximum of 100mA rating.

And also I will be glad if you give some resource on coding line follower with Pololu QTR library.

Yes, I think you can.
If you use a power supply of 7.5V the voltage regulator should be able to do that.
However, if you use a power supply of 12V, the voltage regulator might get too hot.
