I'm new to Arduino. I got my kit today and I was pretty excited. I did the first lesson about a blinking LED. I put the board together exactly how it showed me and I typed the sketch exactly how it showed me. I plugged in my board and the green light turned on (so I know it's receiving power from my computer). I then went to upload my sketch and it didn't work.

So, I did some research on what could be going wrong and found that my computer wasn't recognizing the port. I've followed many troubleshooting tips and looked at many forum posts and I still can't figure it out. I have a Mac and I know the USB port I'm using works. Please help!
