I got an Adafruit trinket and am trying to add code to it but, the port still won't show up. I have the drivers installed and it says they're working properly but, for some reason it's still not showing up no matter what I do. I'm really new to this and have no idea what's going on. I've looked through the web and other threads and everyone else is talking about how to install the drivers themselves. At the end of my rope here because I have no idea how to actually fix this. It can't be the ports themselves because I already use the ports for other things and they work just fine. It's just the computer isn't detecting it at all. Any advice on what to do?
Are you using a data USB cable and not a phone charger one ?
I'm not sure actuallty. The one I bought is the "USB cable - USB A to Micro-B - 3 foot long"
Is that not the correct one?
It says "Perfect for connecting a PC to your Metro, Feather, Raspberry Pi or other dev-board or microcontroller" in the description of the product.
I didn't know you needed a separate cable for charging and another for actually uploading data.
