so here's the thing, i want to make an portable project with an uno and an touch screen. because its portable i need to have an good power system, it has to be rechargeble an i'd prefer if i wouldt need to take out the battery to charge it. think of it like a phone, would you like to take out the battery every time you charge it? one little problem is that i dont have too much money.
any ideas?
First, you Need to calculate how much power you expect to Need.
Explore all the Options for reducing power as low as possible because more power consumption translates to higher costs. I recommend you Review Nick Gammons superb power saving articles. Remember that good power Management is nearly impossible with off-the-shelf Arduinos because all the on-board stuff Needs power and the Regulators are not very efficient. Once you have the Basics down, come back with more Detail and someone here can probably make a Suggestion. Without Details, we'd be Shooting in the dark.
2 18650 cells, a holder, and a charger. You'll have to remove the batteries but it's a cheap setup since you're poor. And since you're poor I'm assuming you'll cheap out on generic cells and charger anyway so it'll all be under $10.
thanks i'll look into the cells.
now for the power i need, i really have no idea. this is because i have no idea how much power the screen uses. it is one like this:
the touch part will be turned on all day but the real screen wont.
