Hello,
I'm watching YT videos to learn about addressable LED strip lighting. My question: is it possible to take a strip of let's say 20 LEDs and have sequence of three contiguous (side by side) LEDs turned on (any color) and be able to move left or right as required?
In aircraft instruments, we call this a Course Deviation Indicator (CDI). I wish to mount an LED strip on my skydiving helmet, to indicate where my course, or track, is located. If the track is to the left, I want the 3 LED sequence to be left of center. When I regain the track, the LED would be in the center, and as I drift too far left, the 3 LED sequence would be located to the right.
In sum, the only LEDs turned on would be the moveable 3 LED sequence. All others are turned off.
Can this be done?
Thank you,
John
