Hello,
I am looking into the possibility of using one power source to power 2 Nano's. My boards both use the same power circuit as seen in the image.
Maybe tap off of the VCC (at J7) (Usually 9V, but could depend on what is plugged into the power adapter jack). Could one 9V battery work?

Looks a bit complex for what you want to do.
The bit that worries me is the mention of a 9V battery. Is this a PP3, the ones designed for smoke alarms? If so that is totally unsuitable for powering an Arduino let alone two.
Note that if the 9V battery is attached and the 7-9V output is connect then bang.
Thank you. Yes, PP3. Ok, maybe just one 9V power adapter around 500mA, using a y-type (splitting) power connector.
That is a bit overkill just wire the power adapter to the same terminals.
