Power Atmega 328 with Sparkfun's Arduino Pro Micro

I'm working on a project with a spare Arduino Pro Micro I have. I need to interface a GLCD and I thought I could use an additional AtMega 328 chip with the minimal electronics as described here: Arduino To Breadboard (I also own an Arduino Uno R2 to use as ISP).

I power the Pro Micro via USB. My question is: Should I power the additional AtMega with a voltage regulator connected to the RAW pin of the Pro Micro? Or can I directly connect the Pro Micro's Vcc to the standalone AtMega's Vcc?

Thanks for your help.

I would not use vcc because it's before the regulator. I'd use raw because it's the regulator output, isn't it?
