Power for a UNO or NANO <<SOLVED>>

Would a cell phone wall adapter power a UNO/NANO ?
If so what specifications should I be looking for.
Thanks in advance.

What we tend to call a "USB Phone Charger" is an excellent power supply for a Nano or (poorer option,) UNO, connected by a short USB cable to the USB port.

Why short? Well, longer ones with thin wire may lose voltage and respond badly to surges in current demand.

Now the UNO has a "polyfuse" in the USB circuit which shuts down if you draw significantly more than its 500 mA rating (for any length of time), so there is little point in using one with much higher rating to connect to the USB port. Common ratings are 1 and 2.1 Amp, so a 1 A one will generally be quite suitable.

If you need to draw more current for other devices, then things need to be different.

Sure. Any specs will work as long as it's 5V.

Thank you direct and informative answer.
