Power Module Question

I'm working on a project that currently uses a Mega 2560, LCD, Rotary Encoder and Potentiometer. I have it all working with a breadboard. I am looking to switch to a Nano and build a prototype. Would I be okay with just powering everything through the Nano with it plugged in via the mini USB or... should I use something like a breadboard power module to power it?

With no information about the LCD, the rotary encoder, or the potentiometer, I think that you had better use a separate power module to power it. Just make sure the grounds are connected together.

However, there is a good chance that this project would work if powered from the USB port, there is just not enough information to be certain.

Fair enough...

KY-040 Rotary Encoder
LCD 1602
Potentiometer (10k)

All cheapest knockoffs available.
